Local Produce at Widewath Farm
Red squirrels hang out in the hazel woodlands down by the Heltondale Beck and occasionally venture up to the house. Come and hear the distincitive red grouse call from their home on the heather. In harsh winters red deer stags make their way down from Martindale, the heart of a red deer conservation area and home to the oldest native red deer herd in England, to shelter in the river fields.
Widewath Farm and Barn are heated using wood pellets. Underfloor heating keeps the Barn toasty warm.
We try to recycle most of our waste and ask that you do the same please in the bins provided!!
